Fine white cotton, short sleeve, early 20th century nightdress, buttoning at back with dorset buttons. Floral openwork embroidery at neckline, fine silk lace edge on cuff and neckline ( one small back section repaired with different lace). Deep flounce with pin tucks at hem, fine crocheted ribbon-carrying lace insert at flounce, supporting a fine primrose ribbon. Small darns and repairs throughout making it still a robust garment. Very sweet.size 8/10- 36 chest.
